When looking at the effectiveness of a military fighting unit, there are few things which are more important than the ability to be able to hit a target you are shooting at. This is why each soldier who enters the United States Marine Corps will go through extensive training. They will learn how to hold their weapon as well as the procedures to go through so that they will be able to shoot with more accuracy. They will learn all of this from the Marksmanship Coach.
What You Will Do
When you work as a marksmanship coach in the US Marines, you will be asked to work with new recruits and requalifying soldiers at all levels. You will be asked to watch over the ranges to make sure that all personnel are practicing safe range habits. You will also provide instruction which will help to improve the accuracy of the ability of the soldier to shoot straight and true. You will also help to make sure that those who should be designated with sharpshooter classification will be able to earn it.
