There are many different ways in which the different kinds of air traffic used by the United States Marine Corps is necessary to get troops and equipment around the nation and the world. A lot of coordination goes into making sure that these different needs are met by the different vehicles which are used. This is in part the job of the US Marine air support operations operator.
What You Will Do
You will assist in making sure that the tactical systems for the different aircraft are in coordination with the air support systems of control. You will also oversee the different placement of equipment which is used for preparation, movement and emplacement. This will help in making sure that the air squads will be able to have everything that they will need to stay on task and to get their missions completed on time.
Get the Training
There are many different things that you will need to learn. Chief among these is that you will need to learn about the different kinds of equipment that you will be working with. You will also need to be able to qualify for and receive a secret security clearance. You will also need to go through the boot camp training program that all new recruits will have to go through. This will help to make sure that you will be able to do your job correctly at all times.
