Joint Security Station Sulekkh- As the members of the Military police and coalition prepare to depart the region, there is a group of Iraq Servicemembers that can stand tall from being able to interact with these soldiers.
These are the different Iraqi Policemen that recently completed the MP police training and leadership course. The 13 Iraqi Policemen finished their final training session last week and now are ready for assignment in the field.
The course was taught by members of the MNF Bagdad division Coalition Military Police battalion, and it was a course designated to teach diplomacy, people skills and how to lead other troops in the difficult but rewarding mission they now face.
?We respected the Iraqi Police in this region but after meeting and interacting with them we knew they needed some assistance with developing their leadership skills,? said 1st Lieutenant Adam Fulton.
Lieutenant Fulton is the platoon leader in the 300th military police company, 3rd platoon that is assigned to 19th military police battalion, in the 18th Military Police Brigade. The members of the Iraqi military police wee getting ready for a final weapons familiarization unit before graduating from the 3 day coalition instructed course.
