Bethesda, MD- Hidden away in an area in Maryland are the people who will wind up providing the lion?s share of health care for the modern U.S. Soldier both at home and overseas.
The Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences is where many of the advanced nurses, and doctors are trained for the U.S. Military. They work hard to learn to care for the sick, the injured and the different types of warrior and wounded issues that the U.S. Military encounters.
They are the servicemen and servicewomen who will be assigned to each of the 5 services for health care and medical support. They work to practice in bad places, but with good medicine.
There are Servicemembers that have joined this program because of personal patriotism, and some by adversity. Many have had relatives that perished in September 11th, some with relatives that died in the attack on the Pentagon, while others had friends or relatives that perished in the Twin Towers.

No matter the motivation, these are the brave young men and young women who will soon staff the different medical facilities of the United States military located worldwide. The U.S. military has some of the most advanced and capable medical staff in the world, and provide superior urgency care and preventative maintenance.
