Straight construction is not always possible. Foundations need to be laid and there need to be underground layers to some facilities. This is why the United States Army makes sure that they not only have the equipment to move the earth they need to build. They also make sure that there are trained professionals who know how to operate the different pieces of machinery which will help to create the structures needed on base and in the communities around the world.
What You Will Do
You will operate the heavy machinery which is used to dig out the different kinds of earth that stand in the way as well as helping in making sure that the earth is carted off to the appropriate locations. You will work through the use of blasting when necessary to get through rock as well as drilling to get through other hard materials. Your job will help to create the foundation for important structures.
