New Recruits Continue To Be Trained
One of the biggest improvements lately in Iraq has been the continued commitment, by both the coalition and the Iraqi Servicemembers in regards to training. There are a number of different training programs, all of which are devoted to giving willing Iraqi Citizens various training, either to work in the Iraqi Security Services, or to work in other areas for the betterment of Iraq.
The Iraqi Army has made out well with the added training programs. The Army has directly benefited from the increased professionalism, as well as specific skills that cause the Iraqi Army to be more effective.
There are eleven different combat battlefield training centers, all of which are coalition led and feature instructors from various US and coalition countries. The Coalition Military Assistance training team is responsible for manning, equipping and training Iraq Servicemembers.
The training centers operate in support of Coalition efforts, and their training has turned out so far about 107,000 Iraqi trained Servicemembers, and the operation of the training centers in various locations will continue to be productive, and to expand.
Coaltion trainers are beginning to train Iraqi soldiers as trainers, with an eye on the eventual withdrawal of coalition and American Soldiers.

Regional and garrison support units work to support motor transport units, and all of the different Iraqi units are being supplied by these different training centers and their graduates.
