Whenever construction happens, there are a lot of vehicles which are involved in the process. Everything from what is involved to excavate the site to the vehicles which will help to bring the heavy beams into place is handled by vehicles. These vehicles will not operate correctly if they are not maintained properly. It is the reason why the job of the US Navy Construction Mechanic is such an important one.
What You Will Do
When you work as a construction mechanic in the US Navy, you will be in charge of making sure that all of the vehicles which are used to construct buildings are in good operational condition at all times. You will fill out the proper maintenance reports as well as cost analysis for each repair. You will also issue instructions to those using the vehicle as to when they will need to bring it in next for maintenance. You will also be in charge of repairs to the different vehicles as they might need it.

Get the Training
You will undergo more than just the basic training that most personnel go through. You will also receive A School training specific to your field. You will learn through two different calendar periods at Port Hueneme, CA to hone your skills. You will also undergo special combat construction training while you are in port on American soil.
it looks like workin on army vehicles would be a great thing to get into.
