Free Test Software For Service Families

November 29, 2007 By admin

Los Angeles, California

Many Service Member families have children or spouses that need to take the SAT or ACT tests in preparation to enter college. In some cases, it’s the Service Member themselve who wish to enter college.

Good news. There is a program available for Service Members to obtain free study software. This software is being made available in a generous grant from NFL players. Players this year have pledged ten million dollars, with more promised in the future.

The eKnowledge Corporation, working with donations from NFL players created the SAT/ACT Test Preparation program for military families and Service members. In 2006 funds donated for study materials from players in the NFL wishing to show their support totaled nearly seven million dollars.

This year, the pledges are even greater, with over ten million dollars being promised to the program. Each software study package is worth about two hundred dollars, and they consist of interactive CD or DVD software. They allow effective test preparation for various college entrance exams, as well at SAT and ACT study.

This program has been very well received. Players in the NFL participating and eKnowledge staff involved in the program have received hundreds and thousands of letters from military families thanking them and expressing gratitude for these valuable study products.

Based on the huge response and popularity of the program, it is estimated to continue into the foreseeable future. Charles P. Beall, a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps is the head and CEO of eKnowledge Corporation.

“We all feel we owe our veterans, military personnel and their respective families for their honorable service and sacrifices to our country,? stated Mr. Beall. We extend a hearty Thank You? for all their courage and honorable service to our country during this time. ?

“We owe our military service members and their families a heartfelt thank you for their sacrifice and honorable service to our country. The donation of these eKnowledge products hopefully will demonstrate our deep appreciation and financial commitment to their futures.

NFL players from various teams including the San Diego Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are some of who have pledged financial support individually for the 2007 eKnowledge program.

How to apply: Visit http://www.militaryhomefront.dod.mil to properly confirm their status using DoD Deers software. There is a link there to forward an application to the NFL/eKnowledge website.
