The United States Army has many different ways to stay in touch between the soldiers, command posts and command central. The communication is made through different broadcasts either through the airwaves or through the satellite technology. It is important that the radars used every day in the Army is available for use so that the command will be able to stay in touch with the central command at all times.
Training for your mission
When you work as a radar repairer in the US Army you will receive training which will prepare you for your career. You will receive basic military training in basic training. You will also receive all the information you will need to maintain and repair radars in the advanced training you will go through. This way you will be able to know what you are doing as soon as you walk into your position.

What You Will Do
You will be in charge of making sure the radars for your unit receive regular maintenance as well as making sure the radars receive troubleshooting whenever they are malfunctioning. You will then need to take the time to repair the radars so that they will be operational. You will be in charge of installs and upgrades to the systems. If you are working with a mobile unit, you will also be in charge of making sure the radar is packed correctly for moving.
