Heavy trucks are something which need to be used throughout the military to bring people and equipment to the locations that they are required at. It is important to make sure that the trucks are not only loaded properly, but that they are being driven with expertise even in combat areas to get the payload to the required destination on time. This is why the job of the United States National Guard Motor Transport Operator is an important one.
What You Will Do
You Will be in charge of making sure that the truck you are driving is in good operational condition before hitting the open road. You will also be in charge of making sure that you stay in line with a convoy or have the ability to help those which might be driving with you to have the necessary space to complete their duties. You will also need to make sure that the road you are travelling on is free of debris and roadside implements which might cause danger.

Hi my name is Raydale and I have my CDL class A already . What would be the requirements for me to get a job as a driver in the military? Can I be a civilian driver? Are there civilian job’s in the military? Is there an age limit? My dad and my grandparents and brother and my nephew are all military men so I have always been interested but thought it was not an option for me. I had a job mentioned to me when i first got my CDL about driving for the military but never heard anything else about it. I am interested and thanks. If you want to actually talk to me let me know. God Bless.
