Patriot Brigade Removes Suspected Insurgent
The Patriot Soldier Brigade has achieved another victory working under the direction of the Iraqi Security Forces. The soldiers found and arrested a high value terrorist target, a man who has been on the terror watch list for nearly a year.
The man was arrested in Rusafa and his arrest also yielded nearly four hundred pounds of explosives, including various types of IEDs nearing completion. The man was a significant capture, and his arrest has resulted in a lot of rejoicing.
As the security of Iraq gets more and more improved, the capture of High Value targets is a great confidence and morale booster. The Iraqi Security Forces have a lot more confidence than they have had in the past, and this is easy to see as joint patrols of the region continue.
The search in the region where the suspect was arrested discovered additional materials and evidence including shell casings for a sniper rifle, as well as written documents that serve to incriminate the individual
Soldiers working together from the Iraqi Security forces, and from the coalition both are striving to make sure that citizens see the security efforts as part of their nation, to give them pride and help make the lines of communication open.
The goal when patrols are held house to house not embarrass any of the residents, and when a suspect is found the issue is to arrest and remove them as quickly as possible.
