The United States Air Force operates on the strength and commitment of the men and women who make up the personnel. Of course, the aircraft themselves need something a little more. The fuel which is used is unique to many of the different crafts and always has to be of the highest quality. It is the job of the Fuels Apprentice in the US Air Force to make sure the aircraft are always getting what they need.
Working Your Way Up
Just like any position in the work force, you will get started at the base and have the opportunity to work your way up. When you are a fuels apprentice, this means you will start out working on a fuel truck in a small unit and you will gradually move your way up the ladder through various assignments until you are stationed at the Main fuel depot which is responsible for global distribution.
