The United States Army is able to take complete control over a battlefield through different methods. One of the ways they are able to dominate the battlefield is through the use of precision weaponry. This includes the advancements which have been made in the artillery and missile launch systems. A perfect example of these advancements lies in the Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS). These systems require the right person to operate and maintain them at all times.
What You Will Do
As a MLRS operator-maintainer in the United States Army, you will be in charge of performing regular maintenance on the MLRS systems. You will also be in charge of troubleshooting any malfunctions the system might be having so that you will be able to fix it right away. In order to make sure that the system will suffer less problems, you will also be responsible for operating the systems.

Training for Your Mission
Just like any enlisted personnel, you will go through basic training where you will learn the fundamentals of being a soldier in the United States Army. You will also go through four weeks of advanced training where you will learn everything you need to know about doing your job.
