Everywhere you go, there is always the risk that something will catch on fire at any given time. This is true at work and in the home, but there is always a fire department available when you need them to put out the blaze. The United States Air Force deals with fires in much the same way as the rest of the world. There are varying degrees of fires which necessitate the skills of a highly trained group of men and women to put out the blazes.
Fighting Fire
While the fires which occur in the kitchen and the fires that occur in a structure are dangerous to be sure, they are not nearly as dangerous as when an aircraft catches fire and the fuel depot is at risk. This is a very sensitive situation not many firemen would know how to handle. You will be trained to make sure that you understand how to handle every kind of situation no matter how easy or how difficult they might be.

Station assignment
Every US Air Force base at home and abroad has its own fire team. This means once you are trained, you will be assigned at one of these stations. Unlike other positions, those who work in fire teams remain in their position unless they ask for a transfer. This will allow you to enjoy more stability in your living situation. Hello, my son just signed a contract for fire protection with the Air Force. My question is he wants to go overseas, what are his chances of going to the middle east?
