One of the things people enjoy about being a personnel member in the United States Army is the ability to travel to distant lands. This is true because of the fact that the US Army operates in most every country throughout the world with different bases stationed throughout these countries. This means it is very important to be able to communicate with the people in the areas where the base is located in. This is why the job of the interpreter/translator in the US Army is so important.
