Another Blow To Insurgent Warfare Struck By Coalition
The assistance and cooperation of the coalition and the Iraqi forces have been continuing to be successful. The forces of the insurgency and Al Qaeda have gotten several mortal blows, and their ability to do business in the country of Iraq has been severely interrupted.
The Iran sponsored Asaib Ahl Al Haq network in particular has been further degraded and hurt by the joint forces of the ISF and the coalition. The coalition worked closely with the Iraqi soldiers, and they together captured 6 known network criminals near Baghdad last Sunday, in the province of Dhi Qar.
The coalition forces were responding to a tip about the wanted men and they caught two individuals simply when they arrived, without a shot being fired. As they investigated with members of the Iraqi Army, they were able to capture the other 4 known criminals at a second location nearby in Nasrinyah.
The network of Asaib Ahl Al Haq has proven to be a pesky one, and it has been the method that Iran has often used to funnel funds, personnel and weapons to the insurgent forces. It has provided a lot of the insurgent training and caused a lot of problems.
