Coalition Engineers Assemble State Of The Art Iraqi Training Facility
As the nation of Iraq continues to heal, the role that females play in the government and in the Iraqi Security forces continues to evolve. Recently, the Coalition worked to aid the construction of a new state of the Art Iraqi Police Training facility.
The Army Corps of Engineers has worked on building the new female membership in the police by constructing this new training facility to aid female opportunities.
Najaf Province is receiving the new 3 story complex, complete with classrooms, officers, an armory, jail cell and other type of rooms.
It has a communications facility, sleeping facilities and a courtyard, and has all of the elements that are needed to begin process of recruiting and training skilled female police and female Iraqi Army candidates.
The coalition works to equip, train, support and sustain different efforts in rebuilding and personnel training. There are a number of different programs that are being actively supported by the coalition, and each of them work together to focus on building a competent Iraqi Security Force.

People in the community are beginning to realize also that the coalition is there to help, and to help get their own forces fully trained, including female members, so that the transition to Iraqi rule is successful.
