32nd Iraqi Army Takes Over In Wasit Province
The members of the coalition from the 1st Georgian Brigade have been recalled, due to the conflict between their country and the Russia. Because of this, the security that they were maintaining was turned over earlier than initially planned.
Members of the 32nd Iraqi Army Brigade stepped in, and immediately offered that they felt ready to take over the security for their region, ahead of schedule. They were preparing to take over from the Georgia Regiment, but not until sometime later this fall.
But, because of the sudden battle situation between Georgia and Russia, the soldiers from Georgia participating in the Coalition were recalled.
Into the gap stepped the Iraqi Soldiers, who were happy to take over in the Wasit province earlier than expected.
The soldiers from the 32nd Iraqi Army have worked hard to train and become confident at the hands of their coalition trainers. The people of Wasit need to know that the Iraqi Army is there to maintain security and keep the continued safety and security of the community first and foremost.
Members of the Iraqi Army that jumped into the gap have done very well, and they have been well received for the most part by the different members of the community.
Several insurgent suspects attempted to take advantage of the chain of command after the Georgian Regiment left, but they were quickly arrested by the enthusiastic members of the Iraqi Army.
