Baghdad, Iraq-? There are some families in Iraq that are preparing to test the waters legally regarding the actions of some US military soldiers. The members of these Iraqi families are claiming that because of the actions of certain US Soldiers, the members of their families were killed.
The people in question were killed during a search of a warehouse in Baghdad that stores grain. The surviving members of their families seek to file a lawsuit against the American Soldiers that were involved. They want to do this under the terms of a new agreement in security issues between the governments of the United States and Iraq.
It would be the first time that members of the US Military would be held accountable in the court of law, and many feel that it is something that is simply not fair, or equitable. Many feel that to hold soldiers accountable in this way would be unfair, as they are having to operate as military personnel and as such they do the very best they can do, but that casualties do occur no matter how careful soldiers try to be.
This is some of the changes that are beginning to take place, that affect US military personnel that are stationed currently in Iraq.
