Four Terrorists Killed And Others Detained In Joint Operations
The Iraqi Security forces have really turned up the heat on enemy insurgency and terrorist operations in Iraq. After learning and being trained by the Coalition, their members are really working to ensure that the insurgency is being pursued with enthusiasm.
Iraqi and Coalition Joint forces working have killed four different terrorist suspects in the last two days, and captured dozens of other suspects over the last several days, according to officials.
The Iraqi soldiers have worked near Balad, working with Coalition soldiers to target specific areas and suspects that are on their radar, with many of the personnel being sought the objects of different tips that are coming in from Iraqi citizens.
At the location last Friday, as they were assisting the Iraqi forces the Coalition contingent was fired upon by suspected terrorist subjects. None of the coalition soldiers were wounded, but there were several terror suspects that were wounded, and the soldiers felt the operation was a success.

A key AQI network suspect was captured, one that has worked to directly boost the AQI media and insurgency network. Another operation gained a man that is believed to have been directly responsible for leading a network locally of AQI members.
Coalition soldiers served as a supporting player on this recent patrol, but they were able to locate and detain 16 additional suspects and suspected Terrorists.
