Coalition Trainings ISF Soldiers
There are a number of different training programs that the Iraqi Police and National Army has participated in, but one of the most challenging is the survival training that members of the ISF forces have attended.
The number of different Iraqi Security Forces that have attended the Survival training the is conducted by the Coalition so far number about 70 members. They receive training in various survival and weapons type courses, as well as how to effectively man checkpoints and other security duties.
The professionalism that the Iraqi Security Forces have shown have suitably impressed the coalition, to the point they know when they withdraw they are leaving the different regions of Iraq in good hands.
The Soldiers work side by side with Iraqi Soldiers, and slowly the Iraqi soldiers have taken the lead in a number of different missions. This not only gives the Iraqi Security forces confidence, but they are able to learn from leading, and then having the Coalition able to tell them areas that they can improve.
The US Army and United States Marine Corps soldiers have been able to teach a number of skills and procedures in both survival training and daily procedures that has worked to assist the Iraqi Security Forces.

Slowly, the Iraq Security Forces have been able to take over from the coalition, and they have continued to work cooperatively to assume different security issues.
