President Bush Pays Respect To New Leadership
President George W. Bush appeared at the United Nations, and gave a lot of praise regarding the actions of the Iraqi Government. Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and other leaders at the United Nations General Assembly listened as President Bush appeared in New York.
As he addressed the General Assembly President Bush gave credit to the Iraqi Government for the different successes that have been occurring for both the Iraq government and the members of the Coalition that have helped make the difference.
?Many troops from coalition countries have returned home, after a job well done and many successes,? said President Bush. ?We applaud the leadership and the zeal of the Iraqi Government, and President Talabani as the nation of Iraq continues to heal and make its way into the membership of nations,? said Bush.
While there has been a lot of success, the President talked about more work that needs to continue to be done. ?Mothers are able to send their children to school now without fear of murder or carnage, but there are still a number of insurgents, killers that still need to be apprehended,? said President Bush.
