ISF Forces Join With Coalition To Aid Medical Facility
The Sadr City area was home to some of the heaviest fighting in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and it has been one of the areas that have also seen some of the best improvement. The Sadr City region has a current security situation that is safe and secure, and it was obtained over a period of time with a lot of coalition and Iraqi Security Forces hard work.
Coalition Soldiers have been focusing on assisting with the establishment of the medical clinic in Sadr City, now that the majority of security has passed to the Iraqi Army And Iraqi Security Forces. Members of the 11th Iraqi Army delivered medical supplies provided by the coalition and delivered treatment to Iraqi families that needed treatment and assistance.
The lead in the project has been taken by the Iraqi Army and the coalition acted in a support role. The Security was provided by the Coalition who escorted the Iraqi forces into the region and stood by in support while the Iraqi forces delivered supplies, and services.
The Iraqi Army provided the supplied to the 2nd health clinic of Sadr City and also provided medical attention to the families that came to the clinic for medical help.

In the future the medical efforts will likely be provided by both Iraqi and coalition forces, and they will cooperate on who provides the security for the efforts.
