Avid Community Members Work With Coalition Construction
There have been many different projects that have been completed in recent months by the coalition, and one of these has been the support of the water distribution facilities across Iraq. One location that has received attention several times has been the Jurn village area.
The different Civil Affairs divisions in the Coalition work to perform assistance in providing water, and water distribution networks. Many areas do not have fresh water, and with the help of the Coalition they can be provided with fresh clean drinking water.
Many wells in the summertime in Iraq dry up, or become contaminated because of low water levels. Because of this, the requirement for reliable and functional water plants and pipelines
The citizens of Jurn Village first received water in the time period around 2006. They have been able to utilize water since that time, and have benefited from fresh water supplies.
Now, there are a series of smaller pipelines that are being installed to help provide for the region near Jurn Village. These pipelines carry fresh drinking water, and can provide fresh water for several hundred additional citizens than has been used previously.

Money for the pipelines, and the Jurn Village water project is provided by the Coalition. The addition of a reverse osmosis filter helps make sure that the water is safe to drink, and it helps filter and safeguard the overall quality of the water being provided.
