Are you interested in joining the National Guard? If so, an Infantry job may be right up your alley. After all, this is what the military is all about. When you develop soldier skills you will be well on your way to defending your country ? and for many people, this is a dream come true.

Before you make the decision to chase your dream of landing an Infantry job, request more information on National Guard careers.

If you want to become an Infantry soldier the training is extensive. While difficult, you will come out the other side a better person. To start, there is 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training plus five to eight additional weeks of Advanced Individual Training. The second part of the training helps you learn a military job skill. The specialty you choose will determine how long your training lasts.

During training you will spend time in the classroom and in the field. Not only does this prepare you for battle, but it makes you a better all around person.
No matter the career you choose, the job skills that you learn will help you with everything from leadership to teamwork and much more.

National Guard Infantry jobs are currently and always will be a popular choice. If you are intrigued by the thought of going to Basic Training and broadening your horizons, make sure you strongly consider this career choice. With the right information, you can make your decision today!
