Coalition Restored Village Will Change Name To Beautiful Spring
The recent changes to the Hay Jasmen neighborhood have been so successful that the leader of the area wants to change the name of the area to reflect the positive changes. Mukhtar is the leader, and he wants to call the area “Beautiful Spring,” because of the new improvements to his neighborhood.
The citizens and Iraqi residents of the Musayyib Iraq region and the Hay Jasmen neighborhood in particular are looking forward to their new roadway. They will soon be able to have improved roads to walk and travel on besides the jagged rocks and dirt that they have now. Coalition troops and Iraqi contractors have been working on road construction for a number of weeks and the end is in sight. All that is left is to complete some of the basic finishing stages, including installation of gutters along the edge of the streets.
There also is a new trash collection and waste program that is being implemented. Areas of the city that were strewn with trash now are nearly clean with no trash in sight. This has led to an overall improvement of the morale of the local citizens. The citizens of the region used to have a great deal of despair and discouragement, but now you can catch glimpses of smiles and guarded optimism beginning to be seen on the faces of the citizens in Hay Jasmen.
