Have you always enjoyed singing or playing an instrument? Do you have professional experience as a singer or musician, but have always longed to do something more? Are you interested in ways you can serve and protect your country as you travel internationally as a musician? If so, consider a career in the US Military.
Music for Freedom
Before you embark on your career as a musician in the US Military, you’ll need to already have some music skills. You don’t need to be a professional, but you’ll need to be able to sight-read music and have a bit of a musical background—at least enough to pass the US Military auditions. After acceptance, you’ll spend some time in basic training and learn to become a soldier, before you begin your advanced training.
During your advanced training you’ll not only receive private instructions on your instrument, but you’ll learn to transpose, compose, conduct and take courses in music theory. Upon completion, you’ll join one of the US Military’s elite musical groups where you’ll play professionally for parades, performances, US Military ceremonies and for sheer entertainment. Upon Completion
When you’ve finished your time as a musician in the US Military, you’ll be ready for a career as a performer in the theater, a musician for Broadway shows or symphonies, a conductor or as a private music teacher. The US Military will even put you in touch with people looking to recruit to their companies directly from your tour of duty. Click here to begin a career that invests in your future.
