To get involved with military intelligence in the National Guard you will go through a lot of training. Just like all new members of the Guard you start out with 10 weeks of Basic Training. From there, your Advanced Individual Training can last anywhere from 7 to 44 weeks based on the job specialty that you choose. In select situations, such as foreign language positions, you will be required to train for 12 months or longer.
