Camp Victory, Iraq- There is an ongoing need for fresh water in areas and regions in Iraq, and now thanks to a new facility at the Victory Base complex, there is the promise of an ongoing fresh water supply.
Civilians and soldiers that live and work in the Victory Base area will be able to partake in the output of the new Al Morell Oasis International Water Development factory. It is a new facility that will be able to produce and distribute about 40,000 cases of bottled water a day at full capacity.
Clean fresh drinking water is worth its weight in gold in the desert, and it is a vital necessity to troops serving in the VBC area. ?We have other areas to supply besides Victory Base, such as the International zone and other regions, we do not take for granted the huge benefits of being able to produce fresh clean drinking water like this,? says Sergeant Brandon Krueger.
Water is pumped from Z lake into storage containers, then water treatment is began. Because the water and treatment plants are at least partly in military bases in Iraq it is possible to control the quality to a much higher degree.
