Renovated HS Gives New Hope In Thi Qar Province
There are new projects that are being developed in the Thi Qar Province that show a lot of promise for the future of Iraqi. There is a high school in South Iraqi, that has become a repair and project showcase for a Iraqi vocational crew. This includes repair of a leading roof, and replacement of various hazardous electrical wiring and repair of toilets.
It is a program for the community in the North Thi Qar Province in particular the Al Nadwah school in the Al Dhyabat village, and in the long term jobs and career health of Iraq. It translates into jobs for about 40 people at the current time, with the promise for continued employment in the future.
More than 240 students currently attend the new HS that is in the process of rehabilitation, it is a facility that is more than 30 years old. The walls, staircases, ceilings, floors and other parts of the buildings are slowly being modernized and brought up to date.

The Iraqi Labor force is working to rehabilitate the facility, and the program is working to find other facilities, such as elementary and High schools in Iraq that can be used to train vocational personnel. It is looked at as a win win situation, both for the nation of Iraq, and for the individuals that are participating in the program.
