Coalition Supports Iraqi Security Forces
As the security forces have been successful in maintaining the security situation in and around Numaniyah, the ability of the coalition to find other activity has been opening. The coalition has been investing money, time and effort in different medical facilities, and aiding in efforts to create new options for members of the communities.
Members of the El Salvador Battalion of the coalition, the Battalion Cuscatlan have been working to construct and supervise the construction of a new Handicapped Numaniyah facility. The new facility has been designed and built with funds from the coalition.
It will be used to support Handicapped citizens and children who have Handicaps. It will be a 200 square meter building, and when everything is completed it will be costing about $200,000 dollars.
Construction for the facility first started the end of June, 2008, and was completed recently, several days ahead of schedule. The facility will have beds for nearly 30 patients, and it will benefit about 2,500 people in the Numaniyah area.
