This weekend there will be a variety of activities at the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum at North Hutchinson Island, Fort Pierce, FL. The roster of events will include something for the whole family to enjoy culminating in a memorial to a lot comrade by swimming out three miles into the see and dispersing the remains there. It is sure to be a grand event that you will not want to miss.
The Events
The events will start officially today with a annual business meeting for the board of directors at 4pm. Tomorrow (11/5) there will be a rehearsal at 11am, annual membership meeting at 4pm, and the annual membership dinner at 6pm. The events will roll on into Saturday (11/6) with a 7am 5k beach run/walk, 11am ceremony/demonstration, 1pm auction, and a 4pm beer bash for the chief?s held at Little Jims. Sunday (11/7) will end the weekend with a 7am beach memorial and a 10am UDT-SEAL memorial dedication.

For the Family
Other than the scheduled events, there will be activities and demonstrations for everyone. You will get to watch a capabilities demonstration, Navy parachute performance, and take part in the open house Q&A. Kids can even fire weapons using blanks for some fun. Show up early so that you will not miss a single thing. It is sure to be a lot of fun for everyone who shows up. See you there!
