75 Sons Of Iraq Help With Ta’Min Province Security
In a ceremony marking the new security arrangement, three Sons of Iraq contracts were signed giving protection to a region that has been the scene of fierce fighting in the past. More than 600 different Sons of Iraq Members were on hand along with representatives from local tribal groups, Sheikhs, and Iraq Security forces. There were a number of coalition soldiers on hand also representing the United States and Coalition interests.
The job of the coalition has been made much easier since the formation of the Sons of Iraq Units. As the security of the region has been improved, the male citizens of the region have flocked to join the Sons of Iran citizen groups. The overall level of pride in the region, and pride in their country and themselves has risen, making the job of the coalition a lot easier. The level of cooperation that the coalition is enjoying has risen considerably.
