The United States Navy operates in many different kinds of scenarios all around the world. Among the elite fighting crews are those like the Navy SEALs who are called upon to take on some of the toughest situations in the world. Getting to the points of insertion and extraction is, in many cases, the hardest part of all. It requires a skilled operator and nerves of steel. This is exactly what the job of the Special Boat Operator entails.
What You Will Do
You will operate boats which will be used to provide maritime and riverine support for troops and teams. You will be asked to operate in military support as well as psychological missions to maintain an edge over the opposition. You will operate as a member of the special operations teams in most cases you will have to have the ability to operate without being seen or heard by those you are looking to infiltrate.

Get the Training
To get the right training you will have to go through different schools. You will have to go through basic training with the rest of the enlisted personnel. You will also have to go through Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewman(SWCC) Indoc, SWCC basic crewman training and crewman qualification training. You will also need to attain a Secret security status. Once you are a member of the team you will be able to do your part to help the special teams.
