Baghdad, Iraq-After finishing the majority of the tasks that they arrived to complete, the U.S. Forces and coalition troops from the United States are preparing to leave Iraq. It is a place where hope has been restored and the people can now work to find and explore their own new beginnings.
In one case, the people of the Qahira Community in the Adhamiyah District are very pleased, the local Talaba Sports complex celebrated their grand reopening to the public on January 9th,
The sports complex is one of the projects that the soldiers and Coalition troops have been proud to complete, working hard to assist the people by rebuilding and helping to refurbish the Shi?a neighborhood at large, and especially the Talaba Sports Complex.
Many people fail to realize the extent that American Soldiers participate in projects that have nothing to do with military issues. Building and remodeling the Talaba Sports complex is one good example, and it is one way that soldiers are able to help on a person to person basis.
The local citizens of the Adhamiyah District are very pleased to be able to have their sports complex rebuilt. They know that while they might have eventually done it on their own, that it was only with the assistance of American Troops that their complex was rebuilt so fast.
