The United States Navy invests a lot into making sure that the sailors are trained in everything that they are doing. It also makes sure that the training and the education of each sailor is as complete as possible. Making sure that each sailor gets the right education is an important mission which must be completed by those who understand how to do it. This is why the Navy hires and trains those who can teach what must be taught.
Experience is a Plus
While it is not necessary that you have any prior training, it will help you to get the job if you have any prior experience training people for jobs and teaching. Former teachers and those interested in teaching are the people the Navy would most like to have in the jobs which are responsible for making sure that the sailors get the right kind of education.

What You Will Teach
What you will teach will depend on what your background is. In some cases, you will go through training in order to make sure that you will not only be able to understand what you are teaching, but how to teach others in a way that they will be able to understand what it is that they are learning. Teaching in the Navy is very different from teaching in normal society because it is far more detailed. Click on the link above to learn how you can get started in this career.
