With all the talk today about who?s a patriot and who isn?t, one way of removing any doubt about how you feel about freedom is by joining the military. Today?s younger generations are viewed by older generations very often as being disrespectful, not having the same work ethic as the older generations, and just not caring about things that most older adults find important. Joining the military sets you above that scrutiny, because becoming a soldier is something that the older generations respect a great deal.
Many of them were drafted into service when the country was in need of soldiers, and they were proud to answer the call. Many more enlisted, because years ago joining the military was something that a large number of young people did, and were proud to do.
When you join the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or National Guard, you will automatically gain the respect of millions of people who don?t even know you, but recognize one of their own in that uniform you will wear. America and her military aren?t viewed as well around the world as it once was. By joining the military, you can be on of the fine servicemen and women who helps change that.
