Both Coalition And Iraqi Soldiers Work Well Together
Joint forces of the coalition and the Iraqi Army have been working together recently on a program to put out the message to Mosul about the unity between ISF security forces and the coalition.
Soldiers from the 552nd MP police battalion and company worked to put up nearly 60 posters with the slogan ?Protect those soldiers that protect You,? and ?Trust Iraqi Security Forces ? Working For a Better and Stronger Iraq,? in various locations in and around the Mosul Area.
It was the first time that the joint security forces have worked on a public relations type program, and it appeared to go well, both in the application and in the response to the effort by the community.
The previous smaller effort of this nature was done last winter, in the passing out of leaflets that were printed with similar slogans. The effort was successful, but many of the flyers were used to help start fires because of the extreme level of cold in the region.
The two different missions benefited the region and the people of Mosul, and it served to build a stronger bond between the members of the coalition and the Iraqi police guard that man the different security checkpoints.
The history and security of Iraq are being changed by these type of missions, and the posters are a good way to provide the general public with a positive and encouraging message.
