US Embassy, Baghdad Iraq- The recent terrorist suicide bombing that has occurred in Kirkuk has been soundly condemned by US military and government officials in Baghdad. The Government of Iraq, and the US Embassy in Iraq along with MNF Coalition military officials are joining together to condemn the bombing in the strongest terms.
?We extend our sincere condolences to victims and families in these communities affected by the bombings, and condemn the perpetrators of such a horrific attack on innocent Iraqi Citizens,? said the official US Embassy Joint American and Iraqi Forces statement.
The attacks were done in the most craven and cowardly fashion without any regard to the health, safety or well being of the members of the Iraqi community. These attacks only serve to demonstrate the need for continued vigilance against the cowards of Al Qaeda and the terrorist insurgents that would try and cause fear among the civilian population, of who are innocent and merely working to pursue peaceful and productive lives.
?We jointly stand ready to work with the people of Iraq, the Iraqi Government, and all Iraqi Security forces to stand against and combat the forces of Al- Qaeda, criminal elements and others that attack or seek to disrupt Iraqi life.? Said the joint US and Iraqi Statement.
