US Marine Corps Soldiers have been able to interact with the different children of the Al Moaine elementary school, in the Rawah region. The Marines with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5 have delivering supplies to the children that were raised by the Towamencin PA townspeople, back home in the United States.
The Towamencin area is known as the Friendship City, and it traces its donation and public service programs back to 1956, to help establish different understanding and friendship between people in the USA and other nations.
The citizens who reside in Towamercin work to coordinate donations and they have worked hard to support the Iraqi citizens in Rawah, and the surrounding area.
Donated goods contained everything necessary to kick off a number of different programs, all which will benefit the Iraqi Citizens. Marines work to transport the food, supplies and other gifts to hundreds of children and worked to distribute the goods to children at different schoolyards.
Much has changed since 2003, when the first supplies from the American people were brought to the region. Since 2003, there have been nearly 15 different distribution efforts of different donated supplies, all of which that has been used to assist and benefit groups of children.
