It has been said that the strength in a battle is only as good as the strength in numbers, and the US has certainly seen its fare share of allies in the Iraqi war. The most recent, and perhaps the most unexpected ally to join forces with the American troops is the country of Georgia.
The soviet soldiers that have combated with the US military troops have already made great gains for the US military, as well as for themselves. The support from Georgia has been seen as surprising and overwhelming all at once, as the country has more than doubled the amount of soldiers that they have sent to the Iraq area. This is of great assistance to those American troops that are in the Iraqi war, and who need help. With more presence known from the Georgian troops, there is no denying that the Iraqi troops will be less resilient, which will make it much easier for the US, Georgia, British, and all other US troops to move in effectively.
The overall morale that is present from the Georgian soldiers is positive and apparent, as the Georgian soldiers are happy to be able to assist the American soldiers in the fight for justice for the Iraqi people. In addition to the Georgian soldiers being in the area to help support the US soldiers, they are also there for the defense of their own county, and to let the Iraqis become aware that their actions will not be tolerated.
