A Journey of Faith
You may or may not be asked to complete basic training once you join the US Military. If you are asked to do so, you’ll learn all of the skills it takes to be an elite and effective soldier. Once basic training is completed, you’ll learn a variety of skills which will help you once you are assigned a to your post. You’ll learn different counseling methods, how to conduct various religious services, how to plan events and about your role as a US Military chaplain. After you’re assigned to your position (be it on land or sea), you’ll conduct religious services, perform marriages and funerals and lend a helping hand to the soldiers who need your advice and counsel. A Civilian Career At the Ready
Upon your discharge from the US Military, you’ll be ready to enter into college where you can complete your studies to become a civilian minister or rabbi.
