Recent efforts to withdraw pirates from ships in the Horn of African have proven to be successful from the US Navy. The US Navy sent a ship into the war-ravished area a few months ago with the intent of capturing the pirates, and releasing the hostages that they had aboard the kidnapped embargo.
The recent efforts of the US Navy took the pirates out of the Somalia waters, and which allowed the African forces the opportunity to regain their ships once again. The US also worked in cooperation with Korean boats to get the pirates out of the area.
This has been a great success to not only the US military, but for the South-Korean owned ships. This gives the troops the opportunity to regain control of their ships, and to allow for the continuation of the patrolling in the area, which is greatly needed. In recent years, the Horn of Africa has been known to be an area of much violence and unrest.
The South-Korean military as well as the US military have had to go into the area numerous times in an attempt to bring peace back to the country, and to have the fighting subside for an indefinite amount of time. US Navy and others that have helped out the war-torn Horn of Africa area have been pleased to see the results of their efforts, and will know that they will have the country up and running as it should be in as small of an amount of time as possible.
