Combat Outpost Cleary Forces Create Unity
The troops that are working in Iraq have begun to receive different support from allied groups among the Coalition. Troops from the former Russian province of Georgia have been working closely with coalition soldiers in the Iraqi effort.
Task Force Petro is a combined joint effort with the Iraqi Police, Coalition troops from US Units, and the 13th Georgian Light Infantry Battalion. The goal of the Task Force is to work to bring peace to the area and to improve the living situation for the troops at Combat Outpost Cleary.
The progress of the 13th light Georgian Infantry Battalion has been very impressive, according to coalition sources. “They have done very well as a group, and are working very hard,” said Captain Christopher Rehnberg.
