With the newest facility it brings to 3 the number of police facilities in the Wahida region, and the newest police station is truly state of the Art.
The new facility was built to support the different needs that have arisen since the Wahida region was given back to the Iraqi Government for discharge. The region has settled down, after the surge of the Coalition, the region has no longer suffered from insurgent and terrorist activity.
The frequency and occurrence of violence is also reduced, and the criminal element has been either eliminated or reduced greatly. The coalition has worked hard to not only support the efforts of the Wahida city council, but also to provide ongoing logistical support and assistance to the Iraqi Police. The Iraqi Security Forces have worked closely with the coalition for a long time, and now that the Iraqi Police is cooperating with the coalition the region has truly been able to support its citizens and keep them safe.
