Baghdad Water Authority Successful
There are many different activities that leaders of Iraq have been working hard to provide and repair for their countrymen. One of the biggest jobs has been to obtain and secure fresh purified water for drinking. This has been a challenge until recently, when a new water distribution plant was brought on line.
Members of the Iraqi Army, as well as Coalition 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, MNF division Baghdad have worked cooperatively with different members of the local community to identify and refurbish areas of infrastructure, water production, and other important untilities.
Members of the Al Khansa Joint Security station have brought online the water plan on August 3rd, and it will work to help provide drinking water for nearly 500,000 thousand Iraqi residents.
Two BWA water trucks were among the first to use the services of the water plan, they were able to fill their tanks with purified water to take back to local Iraqi Residents.
Members of the local Iraqi government worked to open the site, and after a brief ceremony it immediately began to engage in water production.
Members of the Iraqi citizen groups and Sons of Iraq are very proud of their local water plant. It groups together different organizations and produces a large quantity of purified drinking water for them.

This is just the most recent of a number of different water and utility plants that been successfully brought online.
