One of the things which the United States Navy is always having to work against is the sailors getting sick while on the job. This is because of the close confines they are having to work in constantly. It is also because of all of the different ports that the vessels dock in every year for resupply and for shore leave. It is the job of the Navy environmental health officer to try and keep everyone as healthy as possible.
