Training For Your Success
Making sure you will have the training you need in order to provide the service every personnel needs is a high priority. This is why you will go through 20 weeks of advanced training after your basic training to make sure you know everything you need to know in order to do your job well.
A large part of your job working as a mental health specialist will be to get to know the people who come to see the physician. You may be asked to host different group sessions as well as to maintain the files for all of the clients you are responsible for. You will serve under the guidance of a trained physician in order to make sure every patient is getting exactly the care that they need.
