Sustainable Power Options Now Open For Iraqi Residents
Part of the best changes that are coming to the nation of Iraq is the provision of power for the average citizen. With the surge, and the help of the coalition there has been a real push to make sure that where ever possible that there is electric power available to the Iraqi community.
This has largely been accomplished by the rebuilding of different power stations, as well as the laying of electrical transmission lines and wiring, but in some cases the coalition, working closely with the Iraqi government has been able to bring power in other methods to the individual Iraqi Citizen.
Residents of the Hayy Diyala and Hayy Sindabad region recently gathered at their local community center to celebrate the installation of micro power generators. These are new items that are being provided by the coalition, and will each provide enough power for up to 300 homes.
This power system will generate power to supplement, not replace the main power grid. The coalition has been working to come up with innovative and novel methods to bring power and electric service to as many people as they possibly can.
